Rixx Images has been a lifelong dream come true.
I have had an interest in photography since I was a child. I got my first
professional camera at the age of 18. Took a course at the local college, and
went to work!
The majority of my business was the Hotel-Tourism Industry in Nashville Tenn.
Also some Product Photography, with The Duncan Toy Company (Yo-Yo's) as
one of my clients.
Dove a little further into the Graphic Arts, after a stint in the Navy. Went to work
with a Printing Company after my discharge. (Father's Business) It really helped
develop my eye for color.
Got married, had a Son, and photographed a few concerts from time to time.
Then the camera went into the closet. Stayed there for many years collecting
dust.
THEN, the Digital age came round! I was totally fascinated by all aspects of it!
Prints instantly....no more Darkroom, Film, or WAITING. Not to mention the cost
factor! I was hooked! About 7 years ago, I bought my first Digital camera.
Discovered Photoshop shortly after. Started playing around with it, I was
completely amazed at what one could do!! Started working on a process to turn
my photos into a 'Sketch' ....digitally.
Wasn't long before I decided to merge two of my biggest passions, Pool, and
Photography. Posted a couple of my 'Pool Sketches' on the Internet, and before
long it started to take off.
It's something I truly enjoy doing! I'm VERY lucky to have finally found my niche.
Traveling everywhere, to the biggest and best pool tournaments in the
world.....and I have a front row seat!
